Got a question about GRFX Gaming?
We hope we have everything covered below, but please get in touch if we’ve missed anything.

How does a GRFX Gaming Party work?
We show-up, set the games up, rev the kids up and when we’re done, we’ll clean-up!
We are designed to take away the stress and hassle of organising a party by bringing our gaming vehicles to your home or selected venue, you don’t need to lift a finger. We can entertain up to 11 children at any one time and our staff aim to create a fun, competitive and safe environment!  It is limited to 11 as only 1 person can play on the VR console at any one time

What do you need from us?
Somewhere suitable to park, a standard plug socket that we can run an extension cable to (we have one 30 meters long).

How far in advance do I need to book?
As soon as possible! We don’t like to disappoint anyone and we do get booked up well in advance. However, if your desired date is within a couple of days, still contact us as we might have slots available.

What ages to you cater for?
The minimum age for our parties is 8 years and above (Year 3+).

Age Appropriate Gaming

At the time of the booking, our team member will ask the age group of the party.  Individuals will only be allowed to play games above their age when permission has been granted by the party organiser.

It is the party organiser’s responsibility to ensure that parental consent is obtained from all parents/guardians of party guests to play age related games. In the event of an out of age game being requested the crew will ask the organiser for a final decision to be made. We cannot be held responsible in any way for obtaining the permission of the guests parents/guardians.

How many children can I invite?
You can invite as many as you like, but we STRICTLY only allow 11 people in the van at any one time. More than this, they’ll just have to wait in turn.

How much space do I need?
The van is approximately 7m x 2.5m plus a little extra space to open the rear door.  So about 8m in total is needed.

How long are your parties?
Our packages are based on 2 or 3 hours. If you think you would like longer, please enquire with us and we can put something together for you.

Do we pick which games to play before our party?
No.  Have you ever tried asking 11 kids what they want to play?  They never say the same thing.  We set a few different games up at the start to get them going and then find out what they want to play and we put it on for them.  Unlike some other vans, they can change their minds and swap games as often as they like.

How do I secure my booking slot?
Bookings are only secured once the £100 deposit is received.  We have many enquiries for each slot, so are often offered to more than one customer at a time as they are given a list of all available slots.   Your time slot will only be confirmed once the booking form is received and deposit taken.  Please do not send out invitations until deposit has been paid and confirmed.

How do I pay?
To keep fees to an absolute minimum, and then pass this saving on to you with the most affordable Gaming Van in the South of England we only accept payment via Bank BACS transfer. We require a £100 deposit to secure your date and time, the rest can be paid anytime prior to the party or on the day in cash or online. Only when your deposit is received will your party be confirmed.

Can food/drink be consumed on-board the van?
No, sorry!

Will the weather affect my party?
No, unless we get extreme snow which compromises safety. Please see our terms and conditions. Our vehicle has a heater for cold weather.

Does an adult need to be present?
No, worry not for 2 hours. Go and enjoy a glass of wine or that TV programme you’ve been meaning to catch up on for weeks, but you are more than welcome to join in with the fun if the kids will let you.

How do I book?
Fill in the form on the Contact Us page and a member of the team will get back to you ASAP or just give us a call.

What is your refund / cancellation policy?
If we are unable to attend an event due to the compromise of safety to ourselves and others because of adverse weather conditions as well as the event of an accident whilst mobile, then payment will be refunded or alternatively a new date can be arranged to suit.

All cancellations on your behalf must be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation charges:
1. Receive a full refund if cancelled over 28 days prior to the event.
2. 50% of your deposit for a cancellation between 28 and 15 days prior to the event.
3. 100% of your deposit for a cancellation under 15 days prior to the event.

If you cancel your fully paid confirmed booking within 72 hours, including bookings made within 3 days of our arrival, no refund will be given and you will be charged the full party rate.

What if someone doesn’t know how to play a game?
Our staff are on hand throughout your party to support with game playing.
